90° Metallic-to-PE Transition — Quick House Service Connections
The 90° electrofusion transition elbow with male thread is a quick and easy way to connect various types of metallic pipes to PE pipe systems. A simple but effective solution for house connections: the PE spigot is electrofusion welded onto the pipe while the male BSPT thread connects directly to threaded metallic fittings.
The threaded insert is manufactured from brass CW617N/CW511L, available in ¾" to 2" male BSPT. The tapered BSPT thread provides a tight, leak-resistant joint by the wedging action of the mating threads. Covers PE spigot sizes from DN25 to DN63mm.
Manufactured from virgin PE100 black polyethylene with a 4mm Fusamatic automatic pin, rated PN16 for water and 10 bar for gas. Suitable for gas, water, wastewater, irrigation and mining applications. Operating temperature range: -10°C to +40°C.
