The PE100 electrofusion duckfoot bend provides a fully fused, leak-free transition from a horizontal buried PE water pipe to a vertical riser or fire hydrant installation. Unlike traditional flange or mechanical joints, the duckfoot bend is electrofusion welded on both ends — eliminating the leak points and maintenance associated with mechanical connections.
The integral mounting base with slotted bolt holes anchors the fitting securely in the ground or within a valve chamber, providing stable support for the vertical riser. Designed for use with standard HDPE hydrant and riser kits, the 90*90mm duckfoot bend with Fusamatic automatic pin reads the fitting and feeds the correct welding parameters to the fusion unit automatically.
Manufactured from virgin PE100 black polyethylene, rated Water PN16, SDR 11–17.6. Suitable for water supply, mining and irrigation applications (not designed for gas service). Operating temperature range: −10°C to +40°C.
