FEI’s External Debeader 400mm is a high-quality tool designed for the removal of external beads resulting from the butt fusion welding process, suitable for HDPE pipe sizes ranging from 355 to 630mm.
The tool can peel the bead away from the pipe’s surface, whether it is hot or cold, leaving a flush finish and allowing the pipe to be smoothly slip-lined into a larger diameter pipe. Additionally, it enables a closer inspection of the weld to detect potential defects.
