Alloy C2000 this alloy is designed to resist more corrosive chemicals, including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, chlorofluoroic acid. Different from the previous optimized NI-CR-MO alloy, which can only resist oxidizing or reducing acids, C-2000 alloy has corrosion resistance in both environments. The combined action of molybdenum and copper (at 16% and 1.6% respectively) makes the alloy have excellent corrosion resistance in reducing medium, and the high chromium content (23% wt) ensures the corrosion resistance in oxidizing medium.
1. It is not appropriate for NI-CR-MO alloy to undergo post weld stress relief treatment at about 650 ℃. Generally, post weld heat treatment is not required, but if stress relief is required, complete solution annealing at 1149 ℃ is recommended, followed by water treatment. 2.The hot working temperature of the alloy ranges from 1080 ℃ to 900 ℃, and the cooling method is water or other rapid cooling methods. In order to ensure the best corrosion resistance, solution heat treatment should be carried out after hot working.
Metallographic structure
Alloy C-22 has a face centered cubic crystal structure Alloy C2000 alloy has a face-centered cubic lattice structure, and its chemical composition ensures metallographic stability and anti-sensitization.
Corrosion resistance
Alloy C2000 is designed to resist more corrosive chemicals, including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and hydrofluoric acid. Different from the previous optimized Ni-Cr-Mo alloy, which can only resist oxidizing or reducing acids, C-2000 alloy has corrosion resistance in both environments.

Scope of application
Allow C2000 offers great potential to increase production. When used in the original Ni-Cr-Mo alloy, its enhanced corrosion resistance can obtain longer equipment life under the same material thickness and higher safety factor under worse conditions. With the improvement of corrosion resistance in all aspects, the equipment can be used for many purposes (reactor, heat exchanger, valve, pump, etc.), so as to receive greater return on investment. For example, a reactor can adapt to hydrochloric acid mixture, and then change into nitric acid based mixture. C-2000 is the best nickel based alloy material that can adapt to various processes because of its unique ability.
