1.Product Description
This batch of stainless steel seamless pipes is supplied as ready-for-installation finished products per project drawings and Material Take-Off (MTO) lists. All pipes have undergone dimensional re-inspection, non-destructive testing, and surface cleaning at the mill. Ends are prepared with bevels (or plain ends) per welding procedure requirements and coated with a weldable end-protection layer. Each pipe is affixed with a waterproof label clearly indicating pipe number, material grade, size, heat/batch number, and installation zone code. On-site material verification is not required before proceeding directly to prefabrication and installation.
2. Product Applications
This batch of pipes is intended for direct one-time installation on site, covering the following specific construction scenarios:
Ground-level prefabrication and elevated hoisting/laying of pipe-rack overhead lines
Trench-laying and butt-welding of buried pipelines (with anti-corrosion field-joint coating coordination)
Piping connections to equipment nozzles (pump suction/discharge, heat exchanger nozzles, tower connections)
Pipe section connections in confined spaces (valve clusters, instrument fitting spool pieces)
Temporary prefabrication of modular pipe spools (facilitating future overall replacement)
3. Product Advantages
Zero on-site preparation: Pipes are cut to specified lengths and beveled at the factory. No cutting, chamfering, or grinding is required upon arrival, allowing immediate fit-up and saving approximately 30% of on-site fabrication man-hours.
Anti-mistake pipe marking: Color codes (e.g., red = steam, blue = water, yellow = flammable media) are sprayed within 1m of each pipe end, complemented by QR code scan tracking linked to electronic records, eliminating on-site material misuse.
High hoisting safety: Tight OD ovality ensures stable clamping by tongs or slings with balanced center of gravity, preventing slippage or swinging during overhead lifting.
Convenient welding fit-up: Pipe end ovality ≤0.5% OD (cold-drawn); consistent bevel angle and land thickness allow easy control of root gap and misalignment, reducing welder difficulty and improving first-pass yield.
Low-temperature applicability: Maintains sufficient toughness even at -5℃ to -20℃ ambient temperatures. Winter construction preheating requirements are lower than for equivalent welded pipes, reducing on-site heating equipment needs.
Coating compatibility: External weldable rust-preventive primer ensures good adhesion with on-site epoxy/polyurethane field-joint coatings and insulation layers.
