1. Product Description

This product is a forged threaded 45-degree elbow manufactured from Monel 400 (UNS N04400) in accordance with ASME B16.11 standards. Monel 400 is a nickel-copper alloy (approximately 63% nickel minimum and 28-34% copper) that offers high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and good ductility across a wide temperature range. This forged fitting is designed for threaded (NPT/BSPT) connections in small-bore piping systems, typically NPS 2 or smaller.

3. Thread Engagement: Screw the elbow onto the pipe by hand, then tighten with a wrench to appropriate torque

4. Avoid Over-tightening: Do not exceed recommended torque to prevent cracking the fitting body; use anti-seizing compound on threads

• Thread Compatibility: NPT, BSPT, and BSPP threads are not interchangeable. Verify thread type per system specification
