This product is a butt-welding concentric reducer manufactured in accordance with ASTM A815 and ASME B16.9 standards . The material is UNS S31803 (commonly known as Duplex 2205), a dual-phase stainless steel with roughly equal proportions of austenite and ferrite . This 2" Schedule 10 fitting is designed for butt-weld connection in piping systems requiring high strength and exceptional corrosion resistance.

Excellent Corrosion Resistance: High chromium and molybdenum content provides outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in chloride environments .
Cost-Effective: Lower nickel content compared to austenitic grades offers material cost savings without compromising performance .
Good Fabricability: Combines fabrication ease of austenitic grades with strength of ferritic grades .
The concentric reducer connects pipes of different diameters on the same centerline, facilitating smooth transition from a larger bore to a smaller bore . It reduces turbulence and pressure drop while maintaining proper flow and ensuring efficient fluid transportation in piping systems
Preparation: Clean pipe ends and reducer weld areas of all contaminants.
Alignment: Accurately align the reducer with pipes using alignment tools to ensure concentricity.
Welding: Perform butt-welding following approved Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) with certified welders. For duplex materials, strict heat input control is essential.
Post-Weld Treatment: Solution annealing at 1020-1100°C followed by rapid cooling is required to restore the duplex structure and corrosion resistance . Pickling/passivation recommended.
Temperature Limitation: Not suitable for use above 300°C or below -50°C due to reduced toughness outside this range .
Ferrite Balance: Ensure proper welding procedure to maintain the 50/50 austenite-ferrite microstructure .
Annealing: Full solution annealing treatment is mandatory if embrittlement occurs during fabrication .
Standard delivery time is typically 15–30 days, subject to order quantity and specification availability.
Common international payment methods include T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) and L/C at sight (Letter of Credit) .
Products are securely packed in non-fumigation plywood cases or wooden crates with internal cushioning to ensure safe transportation.
