1.Product Description

Stainless Steel Stub Ends, also known as Lap Joint Stub Ends, flange stub ends, or pipe stub ends, are a type of steel butt-weld pipe fitting. The product consists of a short section of pipe with an outwardly flared end on one side, which can be butt-welded to pipes of the same diameter and wall thickness.

Stainless Steel Stub Ends are typically used in conjunction with Lap Joint Flanges. The flared surface of the stub end can function as a gasket and provide sealing to prevent leakage. The flange ring slides over the back of the stub end and can rotate freely, facilitating bolt hole alignment during installation.

The product is available in two basic forms: Long Stub Ends and Short Stub Ends. Additionally, they are classified into Types A, B, and C based on construction. Manufacturing processes include seamless forming, welded pipe forming, and forging.
