FAQ

1. What exactly do I receive per module?

One COG LCD module, 240 x 128 dots, FSTN positive transflective, with the 23-pin 1.27 mm FPC and white LED backlight already assembled. Each piece is labelled with model, lot and date code and packed in anti-static tray.

2. Can I get a sample before the 200 pcs order?

Yes. Samples are released in 3-7 working days and are charged at the sample price plus freight. The sample cost is credited back on the first mass order of 200 pieces.

3. Is the interface compatible with my existing board?

The module uses UC1608 with a 6800 / 8080 8-bit parallel interface on D0-D7, plus WR1/WR0, CD, RST, CS and BM0/BM1 mode pins. If your firmware already drives a UC1608 panel, no code change is needed. Send us your pin-out and we will confirm the mapping before tooling.

4. Can you customize the FPC, backlight or viewing direction?

Yes. FPC length, pin assignment, backlight colour and brightness, viewing direction and glass thickness are all customizable from 200 pcs. Tooling lead time is 7-10 days, samples follow in 5-7 days.

5. What certifications and documents come with the module?

RoHS and REACH declarations are supplied with every shipment. The drawing with dimensional and electrical data (drive method, Vop, temperature range) is provided for your certification file. Tell us the end-market requirement and we will confirm which documents we can issue.

6. What is the warranty and failure policy?

12 months from shipment against defects in material and workmanship under normal use. Confirmed defective units are replaced or credited. We ask for the lot code and a photo of the failure so we can trace it back to the production batch.

7. How are the modules packed and shipped?

Anti-static tray, bubble bag, then export carton with a QC label. Typical packing is 9 pcs per tray and 90-180 pcs per carton. Shipping by express, air or sea; FOB Shanghai is our standard term, and we can quote CIF or DDP on request.

8. What are the payment terms?

30% deposit and 70% before shipment for the first order; T/T, PayPal for samples, and Trade Assurance for orders placed on the platform. Net 30 is available after three completed orders.
