Our 6.67D*60MM bamboo charcoal modified hollow polyester staple fiber is a high value-added functional filling material that integrates thermal insulation, odor purification, and health care functions. By embedding nano bamboo charcoal powder into the interior of hollow polyester fiber during spinning, it breaks through the single thermal function of ordinary hollow filling fiber and endows the product with natural deodorization, far infrared heat storage, and negative ion health care effects.
Different from ordinary surface-coated bamboo charcoal fibers, this product adopts spinning-level built-in addition process. Nano bamboo charcoal powder is evenly dispersed in the fiber body, which will not peel off or lose efficacy due to washing and friction, ensuring functional effects last for the entire service life of the fiber.

How does the bamboo charcoal function work? Is it added on the surface or inside the fiber?
Nano bamboo charcoal powder is evenly embedded inside the fiber during melt spinning, not surface coated. It will not peel off or wash away, maintaining stable functional effects for the product's entire service life.
What is the hollowness of this fiber? How is the thermal insulation effect?
The hollowness is 30%±5%. The hollow structure traps static air to form a natural thermal insulation layer, providing better warmth retention and lighter weight than solid polyester fiber of the same specification.
Will the fiber clump or lose function after washing?
No. It has excellent washing resistance. After repeated machine washing and tumble drying, the fiber remains fluffy and dispersed without clumping, and the bamboo charcoal function will not attenuate.
Is 60mm length suitable for filling carding and spray bonded cotton lines?
Yes, 60mm is a standard length specially optimized for filling and wadding processing. It is fully compatible with mainstream carding filling machines, spray bonded cotton lines and needle punched nonwoven equipment.
