Our 1.5D×51mm pre-oxidized PAN staple fiber is a high-performance industrial special fiber produced through controlled thermal oxidation of high-quality polyacrylonitrile precursor. Q1: Is the flame retardant effect permanent? Will it fail after washing or heating?
A1: The flame retardancy is inherent to the molecular structure formed by thermal oxidation, not a surface coating. The fireproof performance is permanently stable and will not decay after repeated washing, high temperature baking, or long-term use.
Q2: Will molten drip be produced when burning? Is there toxic smoke?
