Our 1.5D*38MM moisture wicking quick dry polyester staple fiber is a mature functional textile raw material developed with permanent hydrophilic graft modification technology, specially produced for high-comfort sweat-management apparel and daily breathable textiles. It solves the inherent hydrophobic weakness of ordinary polyester fiber and realizes stable long-term sweat absorption and fast drying effect.
Different from cheap surface-coated quick-dry fibers whose hydrophilic layer washes off easily, we integrate hydrophilic functional groups into the fiber molecular framework during melt spinning and post-treatment process. The moisture transport function is inherent and permanent, unaffected by frequent washing, bleach or softener use, which greatly improves the quality lifespan of end products and reduces customer return risks caused by faded quick-dry performance.
Designed with professional capillary cross-section structure, each single fiber forms micro water guide channels. Once sweat contacts fabric inner side, liquid moisture is rapidly guided outward and dispersed for fast evaporation, so skin never stays soaked and sticky after exercise or daily perspiration. The 1.5D medium fine denier creates soft cotton-like handfeel, suitable for direct contact with human skin without harsh friction irritation.
The standard 38mm fixed length ensures outstanding processing performance for spinning manufacturers. Uniform fiber length minimizes fly waste and thread breakage during high-speed spinning, lifting overall production efficiency. Flexible blending compatibility allows factories to mix this fiber with cotton, viscose or regular polyester to customize fabric softness, weight and production cost according to different product positioning.

This fiber adopts internal graft hydrophilic modification instead of temporary surface coating treatment. The moisture-absorbing molecular chain is firmly combined with polyester substrate, so sweat wicking capability will not fade after dozens of repeated laundry cycles. Unlike disposable coated quick-dry fibers that lose function after several washes, our staple fiber maintains stable moisture management performance for the whole service life of finished textiles.
Special irregular cross-section structure forms countless tiny capillary channels inside each filament. 1.5D is a universal optimized denier for functional apparel. It delivers soft, smooth and non-irritating hand touch close to cotton, without the stiff rough feel of thick denier fiber. Meanwhile, it retains strong tensile strength and structural stability, resisting deformation during spinning, weaving and washing, perfectly balancing comfort and durability.
Precisely fixed 38mm cutting length with neat incision and stable length uniformity, few short fly fibers. The fiber bundle has good cohesion and fluidity, runs smoothly on all mainstream cotton and worsted spinning machines with low yarn breakage rate. It supports pure spinning into functional quick-dry yarn or blended mixing with cotton, viscose, regular polyester to adjust fabric texture and cost freely.
Finished by high-temperature setting craft, the fiber owns low boiling water shrinkage rate. Fabrics woven from this fiber will not shrink severely or deform after washing, maintaining original shape and size of sportswear, underwear and socks for long-term use, reducing post-production shaping loss.
