YJV22 uses 22-gauge double steel tape armor, providing excellent impact resistance and effectively resisting the scraping and impact of rocks during installation in rocky areas of Africa. We also offer customized thickened armor (1.0mm) for areas with dense rock formations. This product has passed KEBS/SABS/SONCAP certification, fully complies with local African standards, and is the first choice for rural electrification and underground projects in industrial areas of Africa.
Answer 2: The main difference lies in flame retardancy. YJV22 is a standard armored cable and does not have flame retardant properties, suitable for environments where flame retardancy requirements are not high. ZR-YJV22 incorporates flame-retardant materials in its insulation and sheath, which can inhibit the spread of flames during combustion. For high fire risk areas (subways, high-rise buildings, chemical plants), ZR-YJV22 is recommended; YJV22 is more suitable for general outdoor underground installations and offers better cost performance.
