Yes, one of its primary purposes is direct burial. The steel tape armor provides mechanical protection against soil pressure and excavation risks. Ensure compliance with local codes regarding burial depth.
Is it fire-resistant (able to maintain circuit operation during a fire)?
No. It is Flame-Retardant (ZR), not Fire-Resistant (NH). Its function is to prevent fire from spreading along the cable. For continued circuit operation during fires, specify NH-YJV22 cable.

Packaging of JinHong:
