The HONEPAN 70DE globoidal cam indexer employs a convex globoidal cam paired with a right-angle output shaft, producing exceptionally smooth and precise intermittent rotation. The rolling contact between cam and followers minimizes friction and wear, delivering long, quiet service for precision indexing drives and rotary actuators.
This design is ideal for applications requiring accurate angular positioning with a space-efficient right-angle drive layout. The precision-ground followers ensure even load sharing, which translates into consistent accuracy and extended component life.
Continuous input rotation drives the globoidal cam, whose convex profile engages the output shaft's needle rollers. As the cam rotates, it advances the output through one station; the dwell section then locks the shaft. The rolling contact reduces friction, heat, and noise compared with sliding mechanisms.
