A cam indexer converts continuous motor rotation into precise intermittent (stop-and-go) rotary motion. A hardened globoidal cam engages needle roller followers on the output turret, advancing it one station per revolution and mechanically locking it during dwell — no electronic feedback, sensor, or brake is required.
The 45DF features a Flange output, making it easy to mount dial plates, flanges, or fixtures directly. Its compact footprint integrates smoothly into automated assembly, packaging, and inspection workstations.
The 45DF supports Fixed stations (custom count). We can also custom-grind the cam profile for a different station count or dwell angle to match your exact production sequence.
Indexing accuracy is ±30 Sec. with repositioning accuracy of ±4 arcsec (±2 arcsec). This mechanical precision is maintained over a long service life thanks to the backlash-free cam-and-roller design.
