Carbon fiber sheets are lightweight, strong, flexible, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant. The carbon fibers are all aligned in the same direction, infiltrated with resin, and hardened, making this a suitable material for drone frames and other custom designs that require a strong, yet lightweight material.
LIJIN standard sheets are manufactured using a 0/90 layup schedule, where fibers alternate in the 0 and 90 deg directions. This balance of fiber directions provides a good balance of cost and mechanical properties and is suited for most applications.
All LIJIN Materials sheets are manufactured in a hot press, yielding an extremely low void fraction.
Typical applications for these plates include Drones, Industrial Robotics, Automotive and Marine Dash Panels, Cosmetic Covers, Scientific Equipment, and more.
What are carbon fiber sheets used for?
The two most common uses for carbon fiber are in applications where a high strength to weight and high stiffness to weight are desirable. These include aerospace, military structures, robotics, wind turbines, manufacturing fixtures, sports equipment, and many others.
