Round Shaped Pultruded Carbon Fiber Tube with Excellent Stiffness and Strength

Pultruded carbon fiber tubes are manufactured through a continuous pultrusion process, in which linearly oriented carbon fibers are pulled through a resin bath and then guided through a series of precision-forming dies. This process creates tubes with consistent inner and outer diameters, excellent dimensional accuracy, and a highly uniform fiber structure. After passing through the forming tools, the carbon fiber profile is heated and cured to achieve its final mechanical properties and structural stability.

Unlike woven or filament-wound carbon fiber tubes, pultruded carbon fiber tubes feature predominantly unidirectional fiber reinforcement. The carbon fibers are aligned along the length of the tube, providing exceptional longitudinal stiffness, high tensile strength, and an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. This makes pultruded carbon fiber tubing an ideal choice for applications where lightweight construction and high axial strength are essential.

All of our pultruded carbon fiber tubes are manufactured using 12K carbon fiber combined with high-quality epoxy or vinyl-ester resin. The carefully selected materials provide a good balance of strength, stiffness, durability, and weight reduction. Depending on the application and required performance, we can provide different material and dimensional configurations to meet specific engineering requirements.

Our standard pultruded carbon fiber tube lengths are 1 m, 1.2 m, and 1.5 m, while custom lengths are also available. There is no strict maximum production length, but for practical transportation and packaging considerations, lengths exceeding 3 meters are generally not recommended. Custom cutting and processing can be provided according to the customer's required dimensions.

Pultruded carbon fiber tubes are available in a variety of cross-sectional shapes, including round, square, and rectangular profiles. Different outer diameters, inner diameters, wall thicknesses, and lengths can be customized to suit different applications. Precision cutting, drilling, CNC machining, and other secondary processing options can also be considered based on project requirements.
