Our Carbon Fiber Plates are comprised of orthotropic (non-quasi-isotropic) laminates utilizing a twill weave at 0â–‘/90â–‘ orientation while maintaining a symmetrical and balanced laminate. For this sheet size, we offer a twill high gloss, matte, or textured finish on one side and a textured finish on the other side providing an excellent bonding surface.
Description
1. Material Composition:
Carbon Fiber Fabric: High-tensile-strength carbon fibers woven into various patterns (e.g., unidirectional, bidirectional, twill).
Epoxy Resin: A strong, durable resin that binds the carbon fibers together and enhances the plate's overall mechanical properties.
2. Manufacturing Process:
Lamination: Layers of carbon fiber fabric are stacked in the desired orientation and impregnated with epoxy resin.
Curing: The laminate is cured under heat and pressure to form a rigid, solid plate. This process ensures uniformity and high strength.
