Product Description

I Beam is a hot-rolled structural section shaped like the letter I, with tapered inner flange surfaces at a slope of 1:6. It is highly efficient in bending resistance along the strong axis and is widely used for beams, purlins and girders in buildings, bridges and machinery. Available as European IPE series, American S series and Chinese I series from I 10 to I 63, our I beams are supplied black, oiled or painted to meet a wide range of structural and industrial needs.

· Store indoors on flat dunnage; avoid web distortion during stacking.

· Note: I-beam flanges are tapered (1:6), different from parallel-flange H beams.

· Welding follows EN 1011-2; preheat for heavy sections or high-strength grades.

· For long-span or crane-load applications, verify section modulus per project design.

Shipping, Payment & Packaging

Delivery time: 7–20 working days after deposit, depending on sizes and quantity.

Payment terms: T/T (30% deposit, 70% against B/L copy) or L/C at sight.

Packaging: Bare bundles with steel strips, seaworthy export packing for container or bulk vessel.

Loading capacity: 20' GP approx. 28 tons; 40' GP approx. 26 tons; bulk vessel up to 5000 tons.

After-sales Service

We supply EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificate before shipment. If any quality issue is confirmed by SGS / BV, replacement or compensation will be negotiated. Custom cutting, drilling, shot blasting, painting and OEM orders are welcome.
