High Strength-to-Weight Ratio
With a minimum yield strength of 250 MPa and tensile strength ranging from 400 to 550 MPa, A36 plates provide reliable structural integrity while allowing for lighter-weight designs.
Excellent Weldability and Formability
A36's low-carbon composition (C ≤ 0.26%) ensures easy welding using all standard methods, including shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, and oxyacetylene welding. The material is also suitable for grinding, drilling, tapping, and machining processes.
Versatile Performance
This grade offers good ductility with elongation of at least 20% for plates, along with machinability that supports efficient fabrication.
