Medium-sized Universal Steel Rolling Production Line

The No.1 medium-sized universal steel rolling production line of the rail and beam plant has been officially put into operation, thoroughly renovating the traditional outdated production system and upgrading the overall manufacturing level from traditional processing technology to international standards. The core key equipment of the production line, including the CCS universal rolling mill and straightening machine, are fully imported from SMS group in Germany, with equipment performance and process standards benchmarking advanced international levels.

In terms of processing technology, the CCS universal rolling mill adopts the advanced three-stand universal reversible continuous rolling technology with flexible production switching performance. The unit can roll high-end profiles such as steel rails, H-beams and I-beams in the universal rolling mode, and can also switch to the horizontal two-roll mode for mass production of various common profiles including channel steel, angle steel and Z-shaped steel. It features a wide product coverage and strong production adaptability.

The production line is equipped with an internationally advanced walking-beam furnace with a hourly heating capacity of 200 tons. Adopting a combined furnace bottom structure of movable and fixed beams, the furnace is easy and flexible to operate. Equipped with flame-adjusting burners inside, it enables uniform heating of steel billets, achieving outstanding effects in high-efficiency production, energy conservation, consumption reduction and environmental protection.

In terms of the cold zone process layout, the production line adopts a partitioned independent operation mode for long-size rails (100m, 50m), conventional rails (25m) and H-beams. The compact and reasonable layout and flexible production organization greatly improve the effective operation rate and production capacity of equipment, boasting a unique process layout advantage in the domestic industry.

Large-sized Universal Steel Rolling Production Line

The large-sized universal steel rolling production line is equipped with the world’s top-tier rolling, straightening and pre-bending capabilities, ranking among the leading levels of the industry in overall equipment and processing technology. The core CCS main rolling mill adopts a three-stand universal reciprocating continuous rolling unit composed of UR, E and UF stands, leading the industry in production specifications and product categories.

The unit is capable of mass producing steel sheet piles, extra-large H-beams with a maximum web width of 1000mm, and high-end special profiles such as 60AT2 high-speed turnouts and KB1250 bainite high-strength steel rails. It is one of the few production lines at home and abroad that can mass-produce 100-meter 75kg/m heavy-duty steel rails.

Equipped with a CRS-type double-support composite roller straightening machine for steel rails and profiles, the production line supports offline displacement adjustment of the vertical straightening machine. Relying on the hydraulic adaptive control system, it can accurately match the straightening requirements of different profiles to achieve optimal straightening effect, effectively reduce residual stress of products, and improve the efficiency and precision of straightening operation.
