1. Product Description
Our hot-rolled deformed steel rebar is a ribbed reinforcement bar made from high-strength low-alloy carbon steel. The surface deformation (longitudinal ribs and transverse lugs) mechanically interlocks with fresh concrete, preventing longitudinal slip and distributing structural loads evenly. We supply the complete product family: Chinese HRB400/HRB400E and HRB500/HRB500E seismic grades, British BS 4449 B500B/B500C, American ASTM A615 Grade 40/Grade 60, and JIS G3112 SD390/SD490 equivalents. The "E" suffix grades offer enhanced ductility for earthquake-resistant construction.

3. Applications
Reinforced concrete structures: high-rise buildings, bridges, highways, tunnels, dams, railway sleepers, precast elements, foundations, beams, columns, slabs and industrial floors. Seismic grades are specified for seismic-design zones.
4. Advantages
- Superior bond strength: deformed ribs increase concrete anchorage by about 40% vs. plain round bars.
- High yield-to-weight ratio reduces steel consumption and dead load.
- Full grade and diameter range from one source, enabling consolidated container shipping.
- Mill Test Certificate (EN 10204 3.1) with every batch; SGS / BV inspection before shipment.
- Consistent weldability and cold-bendability; no brittle fracture on site.
5. Functions
The rebar carries tensile forces that plain concrete cannot resist, restrains shrinkage and thermal cracking, and maintains integrity under seismic and repeated loading.
6. Usage Instructions
Cut with a mechanical rebar cutter; bend cold to the design radius using a code-compliant mandrel. Lap, splice or weld strictly per approved drawings. Remove loose rust, oil and mud before pouring. Do not heat-bend or flame-cut bars on site.
7. Notes
Store bars on elevated dunnage under cover; avoid prolonged water contact. Do not mix grades in one structural element without engineering approval. Reject bars with heavy pitting cracks or lamination.
8. Shipping
FOB Qingdao / Tianjin / Shanghai, or CIF / DDP to destination. Bundles load into 20GP / 40HQ; 12 m straight bars require 40HQ or open-top. Lead time 7-15 days after deposit. FCL preferred; LCL by negotiation.
9. Payment
T/T 30% deposit, 70% balance against copy of Bills of Lading. Irrevocable L/C at sight acceptable for orders of 25 tons and above.
10. Packaging
Bundles of 2-3 tons, secured with 6-8 steel straps; waterproof cloth on request. Each bundle tagged with grade, diameter, length, batch number and mill ID.
11. Return & After-sales
If material fails the MTC or agreed third-party inspection, we accept return or replacement at our cost. Claims must be raised within 30 days of arrival with photos and an inspection report. Disputes resolved by SGS or BV as neutral surveyor.
