Carbide Tipping Knife Molins Tobacco Machine Parts for Molins MK8 MK9
Carbide tipping knife of is also called carbide square knife for tipping paper cutting. It has four cutting edges of 90 degree, and each cutting edge can be used one after another by turning them around. Being made of hard alloy( tungsten carbide), it has long working life because of carbide's properties like high density and high hardness, which make it be wear resistant. Tipping knives are to be installed on knife holders wich rolls against cork drum to cut tipping paper for the use of later stage. The sharpness decides whether tipping papers can be cut smoothly and cleanly, and further decides the qualification of tipping paper.
This type of tipping knife can be used on Molins cigarette machines, like MK7, MK8, MK9. To be more specifically, they're used on filter assemblers like Hauni Max3, Molins PA7 or PA8 which are usually attached with the former mentioned cigarette making machines like MK7, Mark 7, Mark 8, and Mark 9.
