The oil pressure sensor is an important device to detect the oil pressure of the vehicle engine, and the detected data can help control the normal operation of the engine. The electronic oil pressure sensor is composed of thick film pressure sensor chip, signal processing circuit, shell, fixed circuit board device and two leads (signal line and alarm line). The signal processing circuit consists of power supply circuit, sensor compensation circuit, zero adjustment circuit, voltage amplifier circuit, current amplifier circuit, filter circuit and alarm circuit.
The oil pressure sensor is installed on the main oil passage of the engine. When the engine is running, the pressure measuring device detects the oil pressure, converts the pressure signal into an electrical signal and sends it to the signal processing circuit. After voltage amplification and current amplification, the amplified pressure signal is connected to the oil pressure indicator through the signal line, and the ratio of the current passing through the two coils in the oil pressure indicator is changed, This indicates the engine oil pressure. The pressure signal amplified by voltage and current is also compared with the alarm voltage set in the alarm circuit. When it is lower than the alarm voltage, the alarm circuit outputs the alarm signal and lights up the alarm lamp through the alarm line. The wiring mode of the electronic oil pressure sensor is completely the same as that of the traditional mechanical sensor. It can replace the mechanical pressure sensor and directly connect with the automobile oil pressure indicator and the low-pressure alarm light to indicate the oil pressure of the diesel engine and provide the low-pressure alarm signal. Compared with the traditional piezoresistive oil pressure sensor, the electronic oil pressure sensor has the advantages of no mechanical moving parts (i.e. no contact), high precision, high reliability and long service life, and meets the requirements of the development of automotive electronics. Because the working environment of automobile is very bad, the requirements of the sensor are very strict. In the design of electronic automobile oil force sensor, not only the pressure measuring device with high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and high precision, but also the components with reliable performance and wide working temperature range should be selected, and anti-interference measures should be taken in the circuit to improve the reliability of the sensor.
