This industrial potato starch dewatering unit employs a vacuum pump to establish a precisely controlled negative-pressure environment within the rotating drum, enabling efficient retention of solid starch particles from the slurry onto the filter cloth mounted on the drum surface. Specifically engineered for potato starch manufacturing, the system features a low-speed, continuously rotating drum that promotes uniform cake formation across the filtration medium. Moisture is rapidly removed via the integrated vacuum system and discharged from the process stream, while a pneumatically actuated scraper blade continuously removes the dried starch cake. This design ensures consistent, high-efficiency dewatering performance—well suited for large-scale, commercially operated potato starch production facilities.
