Industrial Scraper Discharge Centrifuge for High-Efficiency Starch Slurry Solid-Liquid Separation
Product Description:
Upon reaching its rated speed, the GKH horizontal scraper discharge centrifuge activates the feed valve. Suspension flows into the drum through the distribution hopper and spreads uniformly across the filtration medium’s surface. Centrifugal force enables liquid-solid separation — the liquid is discharged through the filtration medium and drum perforations, and the solid phase accumulates to form a compact filter cake.
When the sediment accumulates to the preset thickness, the feed valve shuts down, initiating the rinsing and drying stages. The rotating scraper subsequently scrapes away the sediment, which is conveyed out via a chute or screw conveyor.
