Casting Process
Advantage:
The casting has high dimensional accuracy and small surface roughness value; the size is CT4-6, and the surface roughness is Ra3.2-12.5;
Can cast complex shapes of castings: typical hollow blades, used in casting lightweight technology;
The alloy material is not limited, and various alloy materials can be used;
The production flexibility is high and the adaptability is strong. Due to the flexibility of the tooling, the corresponding production is not limited by the batch.
Disadvantages:
The size of the casting can not be too large, the maximum weight of the casting can be 1000kg, and it is more difficult to exceed the weight casting;
The process is complicated and the production cycle is long; there are too many factors affecting the quality of castings, and the difficulty of process quality control is increased.
The gradual cooling rate is slow, resulting in coarse grain castings and easy carbon removal of carbon steel.
