The ASC Ammonia Slip Catalyst is a high-performance environmental solution designed specifically for advanced emission control in gas turbine and industrial boiler systems. As global emission standards tighten, managing "ammonia slip"—the unreacted ammonia (NH3) that bypasses the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) process—has become critical for operational efficiency and environmental compliance.
In the gas turbine denitrification process, excess ammonia is often injected to ensure NOx levels meet strict regulatory targets. This excess NH3 can lead to equipment corrosion and environmental pollution. The GRACE ASC catalyst is strategically installed downstream of the SCR system. Its primary function is to capture and convert escaping ammonia into harmless nitrogen (N2) and water vapor (H2O) through highly selective catalytic oxidation.
