Process Flow & Maintenance
Trapping: Exhaust gas enters the GRACE DPF; soot is blocked by the porous channel walls.
Soot Loading: Particles accumulate, gradually increasing exhaust backpressure.
Regeneration: The system raises exhaust temperatures to burn off the trapped carbon, converting it into CO2.

Operation Guidelines
To ensure the longevity of the GRACE DPF, operators must use Low-SAPS (low ash) engine oil to prevent permanent clogging. Avoid prolonged idling or low-speed driving, as these conditions inhibit the natural regeneration process.
