Purchasing and Installation Guidelines
Verify OEM part number compatibility, including the regulator and servo valve assembly.
Require a hydraulic bench test report covering pressure, flow, and case drain leakage.
For remanufactured units, confirm replacement of pistons, cylinder block, valve plate, slippers, bearings, and all seals.
Inspect the pump housing for pores and cracks upon arrival.
Protect ports to prevent contaminants from entering the pump cavity.
Secure the pump properly during transportation to avoid damage to the input shaft and port threads.
Clean the hydraulic tank and pipelines before installation.
Replace all hydraulic filters and bleed air from the system.
Test pump pressure and flow after installation.
Check regulator response and inspect for abnormal noise, oil leakage, and engine bogging.
