The D375A-6 is a Komatsu mining-class large bulldozer that uses a hydraulically driven radiator cooling fan — the fan pump (piston pump) supplies oil, and the fan motor (hydraulic motor) drives the cooling fan. The fan speed is automatically and variably regulated based on coolant and hydraulic oil temperature, saving fuel, reducing noise and ensuring adequate cooling.
The D375A-6 fan pump is a piston pump (708-1S-00390 / 00951), and the fan motor is commonly equipped with a solenoid valve to enable variable-speed control.
Common Faults & Troubleshooting
Fan not rotating / abnormal speed: Measure the fan motor inlet pressure/flow — if pressure is normal but the fan does not turn, it indicates internal motor wear; if pressure or flow is insufficient, check the fan pump, filter and oil circuit.
Variable-speed failure (constant high/low speed): Faulty solenoid valve or abnormal electronic control signal — the D375A-6 has an electronically controlled variable-speed fan; check the solenoid and wiring first.
Abnormal noise / squealing: Worn motor bearing, air ingestion in system (cavitation), contaminated oil.
High oil temperature: Severe motor internal leakage generates heat, accelerating wear.

Severe scoring: Replace the rotating group parts or the fan motor assembly.
After reassembly, always fill with hydraulic oil before starting; running dry will burn out the motor.
