Verify the part number and confirm main control valve assembly compatibility, including boom, arm, bucket, travel, and swing spools, as well as relief valves and holding valves.
New or remanufactured valves must include hydraulic bench test reports covering pressure, flow, and internal leakage for each section.
For remanufactured valves, confirm whether spools are honed, repaired, or new. Replace all O-rings.
Inspect the valve block for casting cracks and sand holes upon arrival. Seal oil ports to prevent dirt and contaminants from entering the valve cavity.
Secure the valve firmly during transportation to avoid impact damage to the valve block, port threads, and precision spools.
Clean the hydraulic tank and pipelines before installation, replace all hydraulic filters, and fully bleed air from the hydraulic system.
After installation, test compound movements, cylinder drift, and system relief pressure. Check for jerky operation, abnormal noise, and oil seepage.
