Product Overview
UV CTP plates are specialized printing plates that use ultraviolet (UV) light to create printing images. Designed for computer-to-plate (CTP) printing processes, these plates feature multiple layers including a substrate, photosensitive layer, and protective layer.
The photopolymer in the photosensitive layer reacts to UV light exposure through film negatives or digital files, creating ink-receptive areas. When mounted on printing presses, ink adheres precisely to exposed areas while non-image areas remain clean, producing high-quality prints with exceptional detail and clarity.
