Description

  1. After the exposure, the plate undergoes a development process where the unexposed, soluble photopolymer is washed away, leaving behind the hardened image areas. These hardened areas form the printing surface of the plate, capable of attracting ink during the printing process.
  2. The double layer design of the CTP plate offers several advantages. The photopolymer layer provides excellent image resolution and detail reproduction, while the substrate layer enhances the durability and stability of the plate. This combination enables the plate to withstand the demands of high-speed printing and extended print runs.
  3. Double layer CTP plates are widely used in the commercial printing industry for producing high-quality printed materials such as brochures, catalogs, magazines, and packaging. They offer improved efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and accuracy compared to traditional plate-making methods, making them a popular choice for modern offset printing workflows.
