Anaerobic digestion tanks are airtight tanks with different configurations. Anaerobic digestion tank is a liquid storage tank used to digest the stored complex mud/waste water into simpler compounds, and then release gas, which is then used as fuel or exposed to the environment within allowable limits. Complex mud/sludge/waste water includes black water, gray water, brown water (including sewage), farm waste, food waste, human waste, urban waste, industrial waste, etc., which are used as waste for digestion.
Glass lined steel anaerobic digestion tank are large, usually circular in plan, and very distinctive with their flexible gas storage covers, which are often cone shaped and supported at the centre with a single pole.
There are two purposes of the anaerobic digester , one is for environmental oncern , the other is for economic concern.Enviromental concern , according to the anaerobic digester it can lower down the emission of the waste , less pollution waste let out , the means better enviroment . Ecnomic concern , the organic waste in the anaerobic digester which will generate the biogas .
