Cemented carbide is the best material for the production of carbide tips in the medium and high pressure DTH hammer drill industry.
Carbide ball teeth are widely used in oil drilling and snow removal, snow plow machines and other equipment. In addition, carbide balls can be also well applied in cutting tools and mining machinery, road maintenance and coal drilling tools. carbide ball teeth for mining are mainly used as mining tools in quarrying, mining and tunnels and civil buildings.

Applicable occasions for several common tungsten carbide ball valves:
1. In the double position adjustment, it is suitable for the sealing performance, high opening and closing (1/4 turn opening and closing), large pressure difference, small operating torque, small flow resistance, cavitation or vaporization. Use a carbide ball valve;
2. In a pipeline with a corrosive medium;
3. In a low temperature cryogenic device or a high temperature and high pressure pipeline system;
4. Full-diameter welded carbide ball valve can be used in oil pipelines and gas pipelines to be buried underground;

Composition:
The cemented carbide ball is based on a high hardness refractory metal carbide (WC, TiC) micron powder, with cobalt (Co) or nickel (Ni), molybdenum (Mo) as a binder, in a vacuum furnace or Powder metallurgy products sintered in a hydrogen reduction furnace, currently available in the series of hard alloys YG, YN, YT, YW.
The common grades of cemented carbide balls are YG3, YG6, YG6X, YG8, YG8X,YG13. The most common are YG6 and YG8.
