Product Description
Decanter centrifuge is a mechanical equipment which utilizes the principle of centrifugal force and sedimentation to continuously separate suspended liquids with density differences.
Our centrifuges can clarify, dehydrate and classify suspensions with 0.002-3 mm solid-phase particles and thickness range of 0.5~40%. The product is classified into two types based on structure: LW-counter-current and parallel-current.
According to feed characteristics, products are divided into LW two-phase separator and LWS three-phase separator. Suitable for separating different feeds under various process conditions, widely used in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, light industry, and environmental protection industries.
Working Principle
Decanter centrifuge, also known as horizontal screw discharge decanter centrifuge, is mechanical equipment that adopts the principle of centrifugal sedimentation. It can realize continuous and automatic separation of solid-liquid, liquid-liquid or oil-sludge-water mixtures with density differences.
By generating strong centrifugal force through high-speed rotation, heavy solids in the suspension settle on the inner wall of the drum and are continuously discharged by the screw conveyor. Light and heavy liquids are separated through different outlets, achieving functions such as dewatering, clarification, classification and concentration.
