95% zirconium silicate beads are widely used in the grinding and dispersion of electronic ceramic materials, including alumina (Al₂O₃), barium titanate (BaTiO₃), zirconia (ZrO₂), aluminum nitride (AlN), silicon nitride (Si₃N₄), titanium dioxide (TiO₂), and PZT (lead zirconate titanate). These materials serve as the foundation for multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC), piezoelectric components, substrates, sensors, and semiconductor packaging.

  • Controlled surface finish: The high hardness (Mohs ≥ 9, Vickers ~1200) and smooth surface of 95% ZrO₂ beads enable precise, uniform material removal from sintered ceramic surfaces. They achieve surface roughness values as low as Ra < 0.05 μm, which is essential for thin-film metallization, electrode deposition, and wire bonding in semiconductor packaging.

  • Zero surface damage: Unlike irregular-shaped abrasives, the high sphericity (≥ 0.95) and smooth surface of zirconium silicate beads eliminate micro-scratching and chipping on brittle ceramic surfaces.
