White Fused Alumina is a pure, clear Fused Alumina which is one of the most friable aluminum oxides. It has low soda and silica content which makes the whitest vitrified wheels possible. Due to its large crystal size, the crystals fracture swiftly and cut to remain small pieces.
This type of Aluminum Oxide could be used for cutting heat sensitive alloys. It provides cool cutting action specifically for grinding and polishing steels, segments and internal grinding wheels. Its friability and consistent particle size distribution give it an edge above the regular abrasives.The grain is made using raw Bayer process alumina that is carefully regulated to ensure optimum crystal structure and high purity.
