Brown Aluminum Oxide is produced by melting premium raw materials. The product that this process produces, is then fused with 3500 KVA furnace and is a perfect material for general abrasive applications such as bonded abrasive tools, polishing and sandblasting. Although it has lower hardness than diamond, boron carbide and silicon carbide, aluminum oxide is still used for grinding ferrous materials and finishing tough and hard materials. Lastly, it is also used for the production of high-class refractory materials.
The important advantage of brown corundum is its environmental safety. It is a non-toxic mineral that does not contain harmful silicosis, heavy metals or radioactive pollutants. Furthermore, as brown corundum is recyclable, it can be reused several times or used for construction industry as a cement additive.
