SLG Photoluminescent Pigments
Photoluminescent pigment is a new-type light excited luminance material popular since 1990’s . This material can absorb and store the energy of various ultraviolet and visible lights and release the energy in way of visible light in dark environment or in the night. The light absorption and release processes are automatically completed and repeated ceaselessly. This paint is mainly applicable as an additive in the paints, printing oil, plastic, glass, porcelain, printing paste and other transparent media to realize the self-luminescent function. This product is non-toxic, harmless and non-radioactive, and can be applicable to instrument panel display, night indication signal, artwork, daily consumables and sports utilities as well as architecture decoration, transportation tools, military facilities and firefighting system, functioning as a highlighting and decorative sign. The development of this material not only greatly improves people’s living environment but also brings many conveniences to people’s life.
SLG series products are Solonetz aluminate photolumiescent pigments excited by rare earth ion . Compared with regular sulfide photoluminescent pigments , SLG series products have 10 times higher and longer afterglow luminance and afterglow time. These materials possess the following features: * Free of ant radioactive elements, non-toxic, harmless, and absolutely safe for application in all industries. * Longer afterglow time and higher luminance than that of other light-emitting materials (sulfide). * Being excited in little time and wide excited spectrum (200-450 nm); * Excellent heat resistance. These luminescent material features stable luminescent performance and can maintain stability of performance and luminescence under as high as 800℃ and its luminescent effect won’t be affected even at –20℃. * Perfect light resistance. The luminance of these luminescent materials will not be changed a bit even under direct radiation of 300W high pressure mercury lamp for 1000 hours. It can therefore be put into outdoor use. * High chemicals stability. These luminescent products have stable nature and can hardly react with any organic and inorganic agents except mercury. * Long storage. The luminance of these materials are related with the stable crystal structure. Its luminance function can be kept for ever on condition that the crystal structure is not damaged.
