Silicon Nitride Cylindrical Rollers Description 

Silicon Nitride (Si₃N₄) cylindrical rollers are precision rolling elements made from high-performance hot-pressed or gas-pressure sintered silicon nitride ceramic material. They are the most widely used and technologically mature ceramic rolling elements in high-performance hybrid ceramic bearings, often hailed as the "king of ceramic bearings." They are specifically designed to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and service life under extreme operating conditions.

Working Principle

In hybrid ceramic bearings, Silicon Nitride rollers operate on the principle of pure rolling. Their material properties fundamentally improve bearing performance:

• Reduced Friction & Heat Generation: Low density reduces centrifugal force at high speeds, minimizing sliding friction against cages and raceways. The smooth surface and low friction coefficient further decrease running torque and heat buildup.
• Stable Preload Maintenance: The low thermal expansion coefficient ensures that during system temperature rise, the rollers expand less than steel rings. This compensates for thermal expansion of steel components, preventing dangerous preload increase or loss of clearance, thus maintaining stable high-speed performance.

Our company also has other production equipment, the product firing temperature has been raised to more than 2000℃.
