Rotary evaporator is an evaporating instrument widely used in laboratory.
It is suitable for reflux operation, rapid evaporation of solvent, concentration of trace components and reaction processes requiring stirring.
The principle is that under the vacuum condition, the constant temperature heats ,making the rotating bottle rotate at a constant speed, the material forms a large area of film on the bottle wall, and then solvent evaporates efficiently. The solvent vapor is cooled by the high efficiency glass condenser and recycled in the collection bottle, which greatly improves the evaporation efficiency.
Rotary evaporator is especially suitable for the concentration and purification of biological products which are easy to decompose and denature at high temperature.
Rotary evaporator is an necessary lab instrument mainly used for the evaporation, concentration, crystallization, drying, separation and solvent recovery in medicine, chemical engineering and biopharmacy industry.
Rotary evaporator is developed from principle of thermostat heating makes thin film evaporate under vacuum negative pressure condition. Rotary evaporator use stepless speed regulation to rotate glass bottle in a constant speed, material forms a large area of balanced thin film in bottle wall, then the smart thermostat water bath heats the rotating bottle and conducts high speed evaporation under vacuum condition, solvent steam is cooled by high efficiency glass condenser and recycled to receiving bottle.
