Water Treatment Applications
Coagulation and Phosphorus Removal: Acts as an inorganic coagulant in water and wastewater treatment, effectively removing suspended solids, colloids, and phosphates through charge neutralization, adsorption bridging, and sweep coagulation.
Reduction and Decolorization: Utilizes reducing properties to treat chromium(VI)-containing wastewater by reducing toxic hexavalent chromium to less toxic trivalent form, and for partial decolorization of dyeing wastewater.
