Diammonium hydrogen phosphate, also known as diammonium phosphate and commonly abbreviated as DAP, appears as colorless transparent monoclinic crystals or a white powder.
It has a relative density of 1.619 and a melting point of 190℃. It is readily soluble in water, and its aqueous solution is alkaline, with a 1% aqueous solution having a pH of 8.0 and a 0.1 mol/L solution having a pH of 7.8. It is insoluble in alcohol and dimethyl ketone.
When exposed to air, it gradually loses about 8% of its ammonia and converts into ammonium dihydrogen phosphate. It can react with ammonia water to form triammonium phosphate.
High-Efficiency Nitrogen-Phosphorus Compound Fertilizer (with 21% nitrogen and 53% phosphorus content) is formulated to supply plants with water-soluble phosphorus and ammonium nitrogen. This fertilizer boasts a high purity level of over 98%, making it completely soluble in water and easily absorbed by plants.
Moreover, this compound fertilizer is free of substances harmful to crops , which makes it ideal for foliar spraying and drip irrigation methods. Its pH value falls within the range of 7.8 to 8.2, effectively assisting in balancing the pH levels of soil and plant cells.
