Alkylphenol Ethoxylate Carboxylate (APEC) is an anionic complex surfactant, appearing as a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid. It is resistant to high temperatures, high salinity, hard water, and strong alkalis, with thermal stability up to 300℃. It exhibits low surface tension, strong wetting and penetration, extremely strong detergency and degreasing power, and excellent emulsifying, dispersing, solubilizing, and viscosity-reducing properties. It has broad compatibility, can be synergistically combined with various surfactants, is readily biodegradable, and has low irritation. It is primarily used in high-temperature, high-salt environments such as enhanced oil recovery, heavy oil viscosity reduction, industrial heavy scale cleaning, oilfield emulsifiers, and drilling fluid additives.

This product is packaged in 200kg sealed plastic drums. The drums are corrosion-resistant, have excellent sealing performance, and are not prone to leakage.

• Phenolic ether carboxylates contain two types of hydrophilic groups (anionic and nonionic), combining the advantages of both anionic and nonionic surfactants. This avoids the chromatographic separation phenomenon that occurs in formations when anionic and nonionic surfactants are used in combination.
• It has a low critical micelle concentration and surface tension. Through compounding, it can achieve ultra-low interfacial tension with a wide range of crude oils of different qualities.
• It is resistant to high temperatures and salts. When compounded with sodium heavy alkylbenzene sulfonate and other anionic surfactants, it can improve the latter's hardness resistance.
• It has strong detergency against oily stains, making it particularly suitable for heavy-duty industrial cleaning formulations and surface cleaning. It also has excellent removal effects on impurities such as mud, sand, and carbon.
• APEC-4 and APEC-6 have good penetration and wettability. APEC-10 has better salt resistance than APEC-4, but slightly worse penetration and wettability, and a higher surface tension.
• In the petroleum industry, it can be used as an oil displacement agent, crude oil transportation emulsifier, viscosity reducer, and solubilizer. APEC-10 is also applicable to industrial cleaning and textile auxiliaries.
• As a raw wool cleaning agent, APEC-10 can produce significant cleaning effects when washing raw wool containing mud, sand, and grease for 30 minutes, with a washing solution containing 0.1 g/L of active ingredient.
• Phenolic ether carboxylates can improve crude oil recovery; when used for transporting viscous heavy oil, a dosage of 0.01% or higher can produce satisfactory viscosity reduction effects and prevent wax precipitation. The salt content or salinity of the oil does not affect its viscosity reduction performance; in chemical flooding of high-salt oil reservoirs, APEC products exhibit superior hardness resistance, significantly outperforming imported petroleum sulfonate systems.

• For oil displacement under high temperature and high salt conditions, the high temperature resistance of APEC-15 and 20 phenolic ether carboxylates allows them to act as the main surfactant in steam flooding, significantly reducing oil-water interfacial tension and improving oil recovery.
• As a viscosity reducer for heavy oil emulsions, the salt content or salinity of the reservoir does not affect its viscosity-reducing performance.
