Product Description
PEG-6 Stearate (polyoxyethylene 6 stearate) is a nonionic surfactant that appears as a milky white paste at room temperature with an HLB value of 9-10. A 1% aqueous solution has a pH of 5.0-7.0 and water content of ≤1%. It diffuses in water, is resistant to acids, alkalis, and hard water, and can be compounded with various surfactants. This product offers excellent softening, lubricating, antistatic, emulsifying, and dispersing properties.

Applications
PEG-6 Stearate diffuses in water and possesses excellent softening and lubricating properties. In the synthetic fiber industry, it serves as a component of spinning oils and can be used as a softener in fiber processing, exhibiting good antistatic and lubricating properties. During fabric weaving, it acts as a softener, reducing breakage and improving fabric feel. In cosmetics, it is used as an emulsifier, typically at a dosage of 1-3%. It also functions as a co-emulsifier for paraffin emulsification and as an emulsifier in lubricant production.
