Production Process

Raw Material Selection: The primary feedstocks used in zinc oxide production consist of zinc ores (such as sphalerite) and metallic zinc.

Roasting Process: Metallic zinc reacts with oxygen at elevated temperatures to form zinc oxide. Temperature and oxygen flow are precisely controlled to achieve the desired purity and particle size.

Grinding & Screening: After roasting, the calcined zinc oxide is ground into a fine powder and screened to ensure a consistent particle size distribution.

Process Flow

Zinc oxide production comprises batching, feeding, rotary kiln, slag water quenching, oxidation cooling, dust collection and bagging, as well as flue gas desulfurization systems.
