Tridecafluorooctyltriethoxysilane is an organic silane compound with a wide range of applications: hydrophobic and antifouling coatings on glass surfaces, anti-ultraviolet coatings on metal surfaces (copper, iron, aluminum, etc.); waterproofing and antifouling of ceramic and marble surfaces; waterproofing, antifouling and anti-corrosion treatment of wood and its products; finishing of natural fiber (wool, cotton and leather, etc.) products to reduce water holding capacity and improve surface hydrophobicity and antifouling properties; waterproofing, antifouling and anti-weathering protection treatment of cultural relics, bricks and stones, etc.
